Neben Mut, Hoffnung, Respekt und Demut ist Mitgefühl einer der zentralen Werte von Serve the City. In unserem Sandwich Projekt leben wir diesen Wert und zeigen Menschlichkeit, indem wir auf den Straßen Berlins Sandwiches an Bedürftige verteilen. Dabei interessieren wir uns für ihre Geschichten und bieten ihnen ein offenes Ohr für ihre Sorgen und Gedanken. Wir wollen ihnen zeigen, dass sie ein Teil unsere Gesellschaft sind und sie sich zugehörig fühlen.
